Provincial Directorate of Housing
The Provincial Housing Directorate is the main methodological governing body for the processing and construction of housing in the territory of Ciego de Ávila
The Budgeted Unit called the Provincial Housing Directorate was created through Resolution 150 in 2003 by the approvalof the Minister of Economy and Planning, José Luis Rodríguez García, dated March 11, 2003.
The current Provincial Director of Housing is the MsC. Tania Nuez González, who was designated through agreement 056 -XI on July 20, 2013 of the ProvincialAssembly of People's Power in Ciego de Ávila.
The Provincial Housing Directorate (DPV by its Spanish initials) is subordinated to the Provincial Administration Council and at the same time, to MICONS as the methodological ruling body. The Municipal Housing Directorates (DMV by its Spanish initials) are subordinated to the Municipal Administration Councils and the Provincial Housing Directorate (DPV) as the methodological ruling entity.
Mission
To direct the application and control of the Housing policy, with the aim of raising the satisfaction of the housing needs in society, on sustainable economic and ecological bases, with high social commitment within the framework of the General Housing Law and its complementary rules.

The housing deficit is in the process of decreasing, on the basis of a better economic and financial situation in the country, with broad popular participation, acceptable social discipline and a local productive technical base in the process of consolidation.
The legal order and control of the state housing fund is stable and effective, the population care shows sustained improvements and the prestige of the organization has risen.
AHuman Capital Management System is in application with greater stability, adequate stimulation, motivation, professionalism and high ethical commitment.
