The Territorial Division of Fuel Marketing of Ciego de Ávila arises after the merger of the thirteen Fuel Marketing Companies in the country, as a result of the creation of: The Fuel Marketing Company, in its abbreviated form FMC, on November 28^th, 2018, integrated into the CUPET Union.

The current territorial division created by Resolution 10 of January 3^rd, 2019 has a legal residence in Pedro Martínez Brito avenue, Canaleta neighborhood, Ciego de ÁvilaMunicipality. This assumes the social object of the FMC to which it is subordinated, as well as its mission, vision and organizational values.

According to Resolution 317 of 2019, they are defined as secondary activities derived from the social object:

Secondary activities:

• Provide reception, storage and handling services for liquid fuels and liquefied gas of petroleum.
• Provide landslide services and water supply to ships at its own dock.
• Provide mechanical installation, repair and maintenance services to liquefied Gas system of Petroleum.
• Provide specialized analysis laboratory services for hydrocarbons and their derivatives.
• Provide calibration services to entities of automotive equipment for loading and transportation of fuel and non-fuel products.
• Provide collection and transportation services of sludge and used oil according to final destination approved by the governing body.
• Provide collection services for spills, transfers, false freight and fuel contamination.
• Provide advisory service in fuel operations to entities and activities related to oil.
• Provide dry cargo transportation services.
• Provide liquefied gas cooker repair services.
• Provide towing, maintenance, repair, tiring out and scrub services.
• Provide cafeteria and cafeteria services to workers.
• Provide fuel and water supply services at docks.
• Provide docking service to ships that operate other non-fuel related activities.
• Provide transportation services for packaged and bulk lubricants.
• Provide services to the population for the leasing of empty 10-kilogram cylinders.
• Sell to the population and to state customers the accessories (staple, regulator and hose) for the installation of liquefied petroleum gas.

Eventual activities:

• Wholesale marketing of liquefied petroleum gas bottle and cylinders to entities.
• Wholesale marketing of containers for fuel storage in the territory's retail network and to other state entities.
• Wholesale marketing of deteriorated and non-repairable liquefied petroleum gas cylinders to other entities.
• Wholesale marketing of idle and slow-moving products, as a first option to entities belonging to the Cuba-oil Union.
• Carry out the wholesale marketing of raw materials to entities of the Union of Raw Material Recovery Companies.
• Wholesale marketing of resources and materials contained in their stocks that are necessary for the continuity of the production process to the entities of the Cuba-Petroleum Union, to the system of the Ministry of Energy and Mines according to nomenclature approved by the Ministry of Internal Trade.
• Provide workshop services (manufacture and repair of spare parts, as well as automotive bodywork and painting).
