The Provincial Directorate of Communal Services as a subordinated institution of the CAP (by its Spanish initials) has the following:

Mission

The Provincial Directorate of Communal Services and its dependencies are in charge of the Sanitation Programs of the towns and cities, maintenance of green areas, parks, squares, among others, with the aim of contributing to preserve the health and well-being of citizens. It provides Obituary Services to the population through the construction of coffins, funeral homes, cemeteries and incinerators. It plans and controls the Repair, Maintenance and Investment programs for its establishments and parks.

The Provincial Directorate of Communal Services is ruled by Strategic Planning.

Efficiency and Effectiveness constitute the basic premises of the work results. It isguided by projects and values. Management is fully participatory, involving all members of the organization making use of shared values.

The entity is working in order to improve the Management and Direction process in itself and in the management structures, making them more efficient and effective. To improve the environmental culture in the social order with the construction of incinerators which help to mitigate soil contamination and the growth of cemeteries. The Solid Waste Master Plan for the province is in a developingface as well as hard work in Internal Control in all Budgeted Units.

Also,there is a Municipal Directorate of Communal Services in each municipality and the cemetery and funeral homes of each locality are their subordinates.
