The Electrical Power Company (UNE) reports that yesterday, Sunday, the service was affected due to a deficit in generation capacity from 07:15 a.m. to 04:07 a.m. today (8:52 p.m.). The maximum impact of the day was 736 MW, at 8:30 p.m.
The availability of the SEN at 07:00 this Monday is 2,100 MW and the demand is 2,250 MW. During the daytime, it is estimated that the service will be affected due to a deficit in generation capacity of around 400 MW.
Unit 1 of the CTE Santa Cruz, unit 5 of the CTE Rente, unit 2 of the CTE Felton and Energas Boca de Jaruco are out of service due to a breakdown. The unit of CTE Guiteras, unit 5 of Nuevitas and unit 6 of CTE Renté are under maintenance.
The limitations on thermal generation (322 MW) are maintained. In distributed generation, 979 MW are unavailable due to failure and 168 MW are under maintenance.
For the peak, the entry of unit 5 of CTE Rente with 75 MW, of unit 2 of Robustiano León (Hydroelectric) with 14 MW, the entry of 2 engines in Mobile Generation with 36 MW and the recovery of 100 MW that are out for fuel.
With this forecast, an availability of 2,325 MW and a maximum demand of 2,900 MW are estimated for the peak hour, for a deficit of 575 MW, therefore an affectation to the service of 645 MW is expected during this time.
