Attention to People with Behavior of Deambulants

Based on the provisions of the Financial Economic Commission in Agreement 1456, actions for work and care for people with wandering behavior are encouraged, which are

1. Return to the family environment inside and outside the province.
2. Treatments in psychiatric medical assistance health centers, breathalyzer.
3. Incorporation to Nursing Homes in cases that require it.
4. Granting of economic benefits.
5. Incorporation to Dining rooms of the Family Feeding System.

Institutional Social Services

Public Health and Education systems through their different centers and programs develop institutional social services that guarantee integration and social equity. Other institutions and institutions of the State intervene in the implementation of the different institutional social services.

They are institutional social services, which are provided by specialized centers to the population with specific problems, among them are:

1. specialized medical consultations for prevention, care and rehabilitation;
2. nursing homes;
3. grandparents' houses;

Home Social Assistance Service

It is only granted to older adults or persons with disabilities who live alone, lacking family members obliged to provide assistance or cohabiting persons, and who are bedridden or with restricted mobility.

The granting of the service in cores integrated by more than one co-worker can be evaluated, if all have severe disabilities or disabling diseases and lack forced family members.

Requirements that must be met by the worker who occupies the position of Home Social Worker are:

1. Maintain adequate social and moral behavior.
2. Medical certificate accredited stable health status, absence of risky pathologies and a history of psychiatric disorders.
3. Older than 18 years-old.

Protection of Mothers of Children with Severe Disabilities

It is granted to working mothers of children with severe irreversible and permanent disability, in vegetative and bedridden states, with a tendency to progression over time and profound effects on neurocognitive and adaptive functions of the environment in the pediatric age, without the possibility of institutional care

For the provision of the service, the following requirements must be met:

1. The mother has been linked to employment at the time of the birth of the child or when the child acquired the disability.
2. You have abandoned your employment relationship due to the need to dedicate yourself to your care.
3. The degree of disability of the child prevents him from accessing the national education system, including any type of educational care or other institutional alternative of MINSAP.
4. That the child with severe disability is of pediatric age, considering that at this stage they benefit from rehabilitation and stimulation programs, as well as educational and psycho-pedagogical outpatients, essential for the evolution, prognosis and maintenance of the quality of life.
