The Directorate of the Electrical Company reports that during the day of yesterday interruptions were reported in the primary distribution lines of the San Fernando, Santana and Jagueyal circuits, due to damaged devices on the network
Furthermore, interruptions were reported, associated with transformers:
Yesterday the electrical service was affected by a deficit in generation capacity throughout the day, with a maximum of 96 MW
The availability of the SEN at 06:00 hours is 1640 MW and the demand is 2800 MW with 1190 MW affected by a capacity deficit. For the midday period an outage of 1150 MW is estimated
Unit 2 of the Felton TPS, unit 5 of the Mariel TPS and units 3 and 5 of the Renté TPS are out of service due to faults. Units 1 and 2 of the Santa Cruz TPS and unit 4 of the Cienfuegos TPS are under maintenance
The limitations in thermal generation are 387 MW
68 distributed generation plants are out of service due to fuel issues, accounting for 478 MW, and 160 MW are unavailable due to a lack of lubricant, for a total of 638 MW
For the peak period, the entry into service of units 3 and 5 of the Renté TPS with 50 MW each is estimated
With this forecast, for the peak period an availability of 1740 MW and a maximum demand of 3480 MW are estimated, for a deficit of 1740 MW, therefore, if the predicted conditions persist, an outage of 1810 MW is forecast for this period
With these elements, for today in the province of Ciego de Ávila a deficit of around 100 MW is estimated, during the period of maximum demand
We do not have a schedule for today due to the complex energy situation the country is experiencing; the circuits will be affected or restored depending on the deficit required at each moment of the day, which is highly variable It is also important to take into account that there are prioritised circuits associated with hospitals, and with water and dairy supply
