The Directorate of the Electrical Company reports that during the day of yesterday interruptions were reported in the primary distribution lines of the A110 and Venezuela circuits, due to damaged devices, and of the Morón Centro and El Asiento circuits due to a tree contacting the network
Furthermore, interruptions were reported, associated with transformers:
Of circuit 2 on Simón Reyes Street between Cuba and República, of circuit A208 in La Aguadita and on D Street between Narciso López and Passage 1, of circuit A206 on Margarita Street between Narciso López and Abraham Delgado, of the La Juanita circuit in La 19, of the Patria circuit at the La Rosa pigsty, of the Santana circuit in CPA Saturnino Aneiro, of the Miraflores circuit in Old Miraflores and of the Falla circuit on Martí Street, final section, due to damaged devices on the network. Yesterday the electrical service was affected by a deficit in generation capacity throughout the day, with a maximum of 90 MW
The availability of the SEN at 06:00 hours is 1600 MW and the demand is 2880 MW with 1325 MW affected by a capacity deficit. For the midday period an outage of 1300 MW is estimated. Main incidents: unit 2 of the Felton TPS and units 3 and 5 of the Renté TPS are out of service due to faults
Unit 1 and 2 of the Santa Cruz TPS and unit 4 of the Carlos Manuel de Céspedes TPS in Cienfuegos are under maintenance. Thermal limitations: 525 MW out of service
Problems due to a lack of fuel: 78 distributed generation plants with 538 MW and 154 MW unavailable due to a lack of lubricant. Total MW affected by this cause 692 MW
For the peak period, the recovery of 50 MW is estimated in distributed generation engines that are out due to fuel and unit 3 of the Renté TPS with 50 MW
With this forecast, for the peak period an availability of 1700 MW and a maximum demand of 3500 MW are estimated, for a deficit of 1800 MW, therefore, if the predicted conditions persist, an outage of 1870 MW is forecast for this period
With these elements, for today in the province of Ciego de Ávila a deficit of around 100 MW is estimated, during the period of maximum demand
- We do not have a schedule for today due to the complex energy situation the country is experiencing; the circuits will be affected or restored depending on the deficit required at each moment of the day, which is highly variable
- It is also important to take into account that there are prioritised circuits associated with hospitals, and with water and dairy supply
