Institutional Social Services

Public Health and Education systems through their different centers and programs develop institutional social services that guarantee integration and social equity. Other institutions and institutions of the State intervene in the implementation of the different institutional social services.

They are institutional social services, which are provided by specialized centers to the population with specific problems, among them are:

  1. specialized medical consultations for prevention, care and rehabilitation;
  2. nursing homes;
  3. grandparents' houses;
  4. accommodation in transit shelters;
  5. National Education System centers; and
  6. special workshops for the employment of people with disabilities.
