Mission
The Directorate of Education of the Municipal Administration is aimed at directing, advising, executing and controlling the application of the State and Government policy in the educational activity. It coordinates and integrates the efforts of organizations and institutions of the society to achieve the integral-communist formation of the current and future generations, it also assures and consolidates the quality of the teaching staff together with the university.
Early childhood is conceived as the first educational evel of general educatio with two modalities of attention: the institutional one (kindergarten and pre-school classrooms), and the non-institutional one corresponds to Educate Your Child Programme (P.E.T.H by its acronym in Spanish).
